WHAT DO YOU NEED ?

You will need:

1. ZWERKZ 3D STL files

2. 3Dprinter

3. PLA+, PETG, ABS, ASA or Colorfabb XT-CF20 filament

4. RC equipment (such as sail winch / servos / rreceiver)

5. Keel , Rudder, Bulb (The complete version is based on MX Components parts, but be sure to trim to fit)

6. For the base version, please use your own fiber glass keel / mast box, rudder post, shroud support & jib support. We have not tried this version with fiber glass parts but it will be definitely lighter than the printed parts.

7. Sealer and paint

PRINTER BED

Printers
We recommend Heated Bed preferable with PEI surface for hassle free first layer adhesion. Build volume 200/200/200 mm is big enough but what is important is the height, minimum 200mm is required.
We were using Prusa Research MK2 for all our test print.
This printer has good support , proper documentation and best part is , it comes with mesh leveling.

WHAT KIND OF FILAMENT ?

All test printouts were printed with ColorFabb XT-CF20 for the RG65 Manta.

For the MANTA IOM 3D, we have used the PLA+ from ESUN.

Use good quality filament, it will gives you good printout !

HOW SHOULD I DO IT?

Do take note on this. Be sure to know your printer and your print setting well before proceed. Each printer setup has its own print setting for the specific filament used. Be sure to do some test on the filament with appropriate setting.

Calibrate your printer before printing the sections. It should be a tight fit snap on. Lightly sand the edges for fitting.

We have tried using marine epoxy glue to join the sections successfully.

Apply thin coats of paint.
